The conversion calculator is accessed by prefacing any of the following supported units of measure with conversion keywords like "convert" or "conversion". To distinguish them from other AltaVista results, shortcuts are labelled with a small icon  . Clicking on the icon provides a pop-up window describing Shortcuts.Please note: The calculator does not support common fractions (1/2, 3/4, etc.), so you must use whole (3, 5, 100, etc.) or decimal notation (3.5, 5.25, 100.3, etc.).
